Bufetowa’s special is an interesting, party alternative to ordinary sandwiches or korekki. This snack is extremely simple to prepare and requires only a few basic ingredients, which you certainly have in the fridge or can easily buy in any grocery store. Thanks to this, you can prepare it whenever guests visit you or when you suddenly run out of other delicacies on the table.
Ingredients:
- 1 baguette,
- 150 g tomatoes,
- 75 g mozzarella,
- 75 g of good quality smoked ham, sliced.
Additionally:
- olive oil for drizzling,
- radish sprouts for decoration.
How to do it:
Cut the baguette in half lengthwise, then into quarters and eighths. Cut each eighth into pieces 3-5 cm long.
Cut the tomatoes into half-slices, no longer than the length of the baguette pieces. Squeeze out excess juice.
If you have large slices of ham, cut them in half. The meat should be able to wrap around the sandwiches, but not extend too much beyond the length of the entire snack.
Place 1-2 tomato pieces on a piece of baguette. Wrap the whole thing with a piece of ham to create a roll. Secure it with a toothpick and place it on a baking tray lined with paper. Repeat until the ingredients are finished.
Spread a piece of cheese evenly on top. Drizzle everything with olive oil.
Place the sandwiches in the oven set to 180 degrees Celsius and bake for 5-10 minutes until the cheese is browned to your preferred degree. Remove the Bufetowa special from the oven and leave to cool slightly. Serve decorated with radish sprouts or other favorites.
