The rates for workers with a formal contract are as follows: up to R$1,518, the rate is 7.5%; for income between R$1,518.01 and R$2,793.88, the rate is 9%; from R$2,793.89 to R$4,190.83, the rate increases to 12%; and for salaries ranging from R$4,190.84 to R$8,157.41, the contribution is 14%.
In the case of public servants, the rates are higher, ranging from 7.5% to 22%. The new table for these professionals will also be applied from February. The rates for servers are: up to R$1,518, 7.5%; from R$ 1,518.01 to R$ 2,793.88, 9%; from R$2,793.89 to R$4,190.83, 12%; from R$4,190.84 to R$8,157.41, 14%; from R$8,157.42 to R$13,969.49, 14.5%; from R$ 13,969.50 to R$ 27,938.95, 16.5%; from R$27,938.96 to R$54,480.97, 19%; and above R$54,480.97, 22%.
For Individual Microentrepreneurs (MEI), the monthly contribution increased, from R$70.60 to R$75.90. Payment must be made by the 20th of each month, and the first bill with the new value will expire in February 2025. In addition, MEIs that carry out activities subject to ICMS or ISSQN will have an increase in their monthly contributions.
