Divided into five modules, the course will cover advanced methods of searching for information online. The objective is to train journalists with essential skills for today’s challenges.
Training includes digital content management, verification and geolocation of images and videos, background checks, source identification and use of artificial intelligence for data analysis and research.
Classes are online and in English, with subtitles in Portuguese. They will take place weekly between January 13th and February 16th, but can be watched asynchronously. In addition to video lessons, the course includes readings, discussions, and quizzes.
At the end, the organization awards a certificate of completion. The course has a registration fee of US$95 (about R$579).
