“That’s for managers to go on trips to Disney. And I don’t admit that here at Palmeiras. I’m not even invited (to tours abroad) because they [organizadores] they know that. I don’t win financially and neither do I win sportingly”, he added.
“The poor athlete already has to spend the whole year with this insane calendar. Then in the pre-season, when he can be at peace, in his city, with all the club structure, he goes to Disney? No one wants to go to a country or the ‘worst’ city, wants to go to Disney, for a walk, because the leaders aren’t made of iron either, they want to go for a walk, right?”, joked the president of Palmeiras.
