A 43-year-old man was arrested after confessing to killing a public servant in Fundão (ES), a city located in the metropolitan region of Vitória. According to the Civil Police, the criminal beat the victim after she broke the screen of his cell phone.
The crime occurred on January 4, but the suspect was only captured on the afternoon of last Wednesday (8).
According to the Civil Police, the criminal was identified through security camera images.
“The images show the suspect and the victim entering the victim’s house and, later, only the suspect leaves the residence. The victim was struck in the back of the head, nose and face. The two were taking drugs and, after the victim broke the screen of the suspect’s cell phone, he became unhappy and launched the blows”, explained the head of the Fundão Police Station, Chief Leandro Comper Sperandio, in a statement.
During the police approach, the man confessed to the crime. He was taken to the Aracruz Provisional Detention Center, where he remains at the disposal of the Justice Department.
