Around 5 tons of meat were stolen this Sunday morning (12), after a truck overturned on PR-281, in the municipality of Realeza, in the southwest of Paraná. According to information from the State Highway Police (PRE), the looting took place before the police arrived.
The vehicle was loaded, in total, with 25 tons. The driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle late this Sunday morning when it overturned. He had no serious injuries.

In a statement, PRE reported that after being informed of what had happened, it moved immediately to prevent the thefts. The corporation contributed to the company for transshipping the cargo and unloading the truck.
