Defender Sergio Ramos, formerly of Real Madrid and the Spanish national team, appears in a promotional video with a song by Atlético-MG fans in the background. The enigmatic material from Mizuno, the athlete’s sponsor, increased rumors about the 38-year-old defender’s possible arrival in Belo Horizonte.
The video was published this Monday (13/01) on Mizuno’s social networks. In the recording, the background music is a chant from Galo fans and the final message says: “Coming soon”.

The possible signing pleased fans of the Minas Gerais club, who welcomed the defender on social media.
Despite the repercussion, Galo has not officially commented on whether there is an open negotiation for Sergio Ramos.
In recent months, the defender would have been offered to Corinthians, and Cruzeiro also showed interest in having the player, but negotiations did not progress.

He has been without a club since June 30, after his contract was not renewed by Sevilla. Therefore, he has not played since May 26th.

The athlete was trained in Sevilla’s youth categories, but transferred to Real Madrid in 2005, a year after joining the professionals. For the Madrid team, he soon became captain and one of the team’s main references, staying at the club until 2021.
With Real, he won 22 titles, including four Champions Leagues, four Club World Cups and five La Ligas.
After spending his entire career in Spain, he moved to PSG, where he stayed for two seasons. With the French team, he won two French Championship titles and one French Super Cup. He returned to Sevilla in 2023, but ended up leaving at the end of the 23/24 season, becoming a free agent on the market.
