A tsunami warning was issued for cities in Japan after an earthquake was recorded this Monday (13).

The tremor occurred at 9:19 pm local time (9:19 am Brasília time) and had a preliminary measurement of 6.9 degrees on the Richter Scale.

Tsunami warnings have been issued for Miyazaki and Kochi, which are close to the quake’s epicenter. The tremor happened at a depth of 37 kilometers, according to local news agencies.
