Four businessmen with companies of North American origin are the richest people in the world at the beginning of 2025. South African naturalized North American Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, remains the richest person on the planet, with a net worth of US$ 417.3 billion, according to data from the Forbes Real-Time List of Billionaires, consulted on the afternoon of Friday, 10.

Next in the ranking is Jeff Bezos, from Amazon, with a fortune of US$233.3 billion.

Mark Zuckerberg, from Meta, appears in third place, with current assets of US$209.6 billion.

To complete the quartet, Larry Ellison, from Oracle, is currently the fourth richest person in the world, with a fortune of US$198.7 billion.

In total, the 10 richest people in the world together have a net worth of US$1.965 trillion.
