After the Christmas holidays, another popular period begins. Thousands of people all over Slovakia can’t wait to put on beautiful dresses and suits and go out to have fun at the ball. For years, the ball season was opened by the Opera Ball, but due to the pandemic, like all events, it was put on hold and the tradition has not been renewed since then. Most people only saw it as an evening full of nobility and elegance, but Zlatica Švajdová Puškárová sees it differently.
Although we mainly associate the popular presenter with Televízny noviny, we should not forget that she also regularly hosted one of the most prestigious social events. “Always around this time, after New Year’s skiing, I changed into the clothes of the great Jana Pištejová to moderate the largest charity ball in the opera house for Markíza. It was a rare evening of help, art, friendships,” she wrote on the social network.
A well-known face from TV screens has taken the microphone at many balls and therefore knows how to make the best one. “I moderated many balls, but honestly the biggest fun always belonged to the Easterners. They didn’t even leave the parquet before dawn. Enjoy the time of balls, dances and nice meetings,” she told Slovaks through the post.
