The police are investigating a serious case of bodily harm that occurred on Saturday (January 11) in the early hours of the morning on the first class road 1/19 in the direction from the town of Sečovce to the village of Dargov in the Trebišovský district.
“Under unexplained circumstances, an injured person was found on the right side of the road. A passing road user called the emergency services, which took the injured person – a woman – to the hospital in Trebišov,” the Košice Regional Police reported on the social network.
According to the preliminary medical report, the young woman suffered serious injuries with an expected healing time of more than 42 days. The police are asking for the public’s help. “If you witnessed this event, were in the area around 4:05 a.m. or have any information that could help clarify the circumstances of the case, please contact the police,” she stated.
