There are more good people in this industry. Record auction at the Gala of the 100 Most Influential People in Polish Tourism

For nine years, “Wasza Turystyka” has been creating a ranking of 100 people who have a real impact on the condition of the tourism industry in . 28 new names appeared on the 2024 summary list. The ranking also shows that women also have more and more say in the field of tourism. The latest ranking includes 27 of them, which is four times more than in the previous year. Although there is only one in the top ten – Izabela Stelmańska, deputy director of the department of culture, promotion and tourism at the Marshal’s Office of the Masovian Voivodeship and president of the Masovian Regional Tourist Organization, took 5th place. The top three most influential people in Polish tourism are: Piotr Henicz, vice-president of Itaka Holdings, Michał Fijoł, proxy of LOT Polish Airlines, Dominik Borek, director of the tourism department at the Ministry of Sport and Tourism.

Even though the list of “Your Tourism” includes a hundred people, there are many more people active in Polish tourism and they proved it once again at the statuette award ceremony. During the charity auction, PLN 243,500 was collected, i.e. over PLN 100,000. more than a year ago. The entire amount will be donated to the Children’s Home in Kłodzko, which suffered during last year’s flood. You could bid, among others: Weekend in Krakow with Tomasz Karolak: day and night tours around Krakow with accommodation in a five-star hotel, individual training with Paweł Zagumny, a T-shirt and a ball signed by the World Champion and the Polish beach volleyball team, and dinner with Robert Makłowicz and a representative of the management board of Wakacje.pl.

Young blood in the tourism industry

In addition to the “100 most influential”, the editors of “Wasz Turystka” decided to award awards named after Adam Gąsior – “Gąsiory Turystki”. An award to commemorate the founder of “Wasz Turystyka” who died in 2023. Awards were granted in three categories: Hope of Tourism – Karolina Kowalczyk, junior social media specialist at the CrystalMountain Hotel in Wisła, Young Tourism Leader – Miłosz Bratu, head of the organization and events department at LOT Polish Airlines. S. A and Tourist Discovery of the Year – Paweł Nowakowski, owner of the Tu i Tam Travel Agency.
