European Sleeper, which launched its Brussels-Berlin route in 2023, will debut a new night train from Brussels to Venice from February 5, 2025. The 20-hour journey passes through Eindhoven, Munich, Innsbruck and Bolzano, arriving in Venice just in time for its famous carnival.
With bed cabins already booked until March, couchette cabins start at €139, and breakfast is available for an additional €14. Operating twice a week during February and March, this service offers a convenient connection for spring travelers and ski enthusiasts.
Amsterdam to Barcelona
European Sleeper’s long-awaited Amsterdam-Barcelona night train has faced delays, postponing its launch until end of 2025 or later. Promising a direct overnight service via Brussels and Lille, this route will replace the current 17-hour multi-change journeys with a hassle-free alternative.
Paris to Berlin
While the Paris-Berlin Nightjet night train continues to be popular, a new high-speed daytime service will launch on December 16, 2025. Reducing journey times to just eight hoursthe direct ICE train will depart Paris Est at 09:55 and arrive in Berlin at 18:03. The Dolce Vita
Orient Express La Dolce Vita will provide an ultra-luxurious experience with vintage-inspired trains with 11 carriages and opulent cabins. Dutch startup GoVolta aims to revolutionize the market with low-cost long-distance services from September 2025. The initial Amsterdam-Berlin route will be followed by connections to Copenhagen and Basel.
