The magazine ‘Cristina’, by Cristina Ferreira, has come to an end. The decision had already been communicated in December last year, however, and in order to close this chapter, the presenter launched this Sunday, January 12th, the very special cover of the latest publication, which went on newsstands today ().
On her Instagram account, Cláudio Ramos’ television partner also made a point of sharing a reflection on this end, without forgetting the ups and downs that were experienced over these 10 years.
“It was raining. This is the first memory of the beginning. Everyone in that room remembered the moment. We felt the blessing in that moment. What was coming was new, unexpected, exciting, and it had a name: CRISTINA. Cristina magazine was going to be born”he started by remembering.
Cristina Ferreira then revealed details of the day she launched the magazine and the immediate success it had month after month, showing her pride in the team that was always by her side.
“(…) They talked about us repeatedly, we surprised with bold, fractured, unique covers. We strip people and strip ourselves of prejudices. We have always been freedom.”he highlighted.
Following this, the presenter also recalled the most difficult period the entire team went through, during the Covid-19 pandemic: “We went through a pandemic with kiosks closed, bankruptcy of partner companies that kept all our money, (one day I’ll tell you) we went to the ground and always got back up. For pride and passion”he stressed.
In the end, and regarding the cover that closes this project, Cristina Ferreira assured that “this could only be the closing”: “This edition is a decade old. Guard my life too. After all, it had my name. And, as this is a project of love, this could only be the end. Full stop”but
