Defeat against Nacional mortgaged the “dragons” rise to the isolated leadership of the championship. FC Porto have won just one game in the last seven played away from Dragão.
After the the FC Porto team was received with insults at the airport and a lot of protest at the Estádio do Dragão. Fans are dissatisfied with the results and performances. They ask, once again, for Vítor Bruno’s resignation.
The protests began upon the team’s arrival at Francisco Sá Carneiro airport, visibly reinforced by several PSP elements. Coach Vítor Bruno and president André Villas-Boas left together and heard the first expression of discontent, after yet another defeat, which, this time, mortgaged the rise of the “dragons” to the isolated leadership of the club.
“Vítor, c*****, resigns”
The insults and requests for the coach’s resignation increased in tone upon arrival at Estádio do Dragão. Moved away by the police, around 30 fans waited for the bus and showed their displeasure to the team.
FC Porto have won just one game in the last seven away from Dragão, but Vítor Bruno’s continuity does not seem to be in question, despite the contrary desire of some fans.
The “blue and whites” will play again on Sunday, in Barcelos, against Gil Vicente. They start the second lap one point behind leader Sporting.
