Tyrolean rescue trained almost 3,000 paramedics on domestic violence

Innsbruck – Last year, the Tyrolean Red Cross carried out a large-scale training campaign for its employees regarding domestic violence. In addition to a general introduction to the topic, around 3,000 paramedics received possible conversation starters, it was said at a press conference in Innsbruck on Monday. A central element is the code word “Dr. Viola”, which is intended to enable those affected by violence to communicate discreetly.
