This Monday’s General Balance Sheet (13) brings all the details of two violent deaths that occurred over the weekend in Matinhos, on the coast of Paraná. Two men died after being attacked, in two different confusions.
On Saturday afternoon, a 39-year-old man died after being attacked and thrown from a roof. The individual would be walking over some houses and would have caused fear among residents of the Mangue Seco neighborhood. One of the neighbors approached the boy and the action ended in death.
Other people who were in the region called security agencies, however, one of the residents climbed onto the roof and approached the individual before the vehicles arrived. The man walking on the rooftops was attacked and thrown from a height of approximately three meters.
When he fell onto the public road, the man was still dragged, as shown in a video recorded at the time. The man was then treated by rescue teams, but died while being transferred to an emergency care unit (upa).
The BG also shows that on Saturday morning (11), a waiter at a snack bar was found dead inside his home, hours after being attacked by a man who refused to pay a fee to use the establishment’s bathroom.
According to the police, the suspect, who was arrested on Saturday, attacked the victim with punches and headbutts. Then the waiter, a 27-year-old young man, fell and hit his head. He was then taken home by some diner customers, but died hours later as a result of the injuries he suffered.
The man who allegedly attacked the young man was arrested in Contenda, in the Metropolitan Region of Curitiba (RMC), on Saturday afternoon, hiding in his girlfriend’s apartment. He was arrested on suspicion of qualified homicide.
Man arrested after shooting woman in the head and fleeing
The General Balance also includes another case of violence against women. A man was arrested shortly after shooting his own wife, in Campo Largo, RMC, on Sunday (12) night.
According to information from the Military Police, the suspect was drunk and entered the house shooting randomly. He fired at least ten times. He then pointed the gun at his wife and shot her in the head.
The suspect then fled while neighbors attended to the victim, who was taken to the hospital seriously injured. However, the perpetrator of the crime was arrested shortly afterwards, at his parents’ house.
