A young woman, aged 25, was shot in the head this Saturday (11), in Campo Largo, in the Metropolitan Region of Curitiba. Her husband was arrested in his sleep. The victim had a birthday on Friday (10).

According to RICtv, the young woman was reunited with her family when her partner broke into the house and fired several gunshots. The victim’s mother reported that she was talking and laughing when she was shot.
“I only saw her fall after the shots. I told him: ‘You killed my daughter’. Then he runs away screaming”, revealed the mother.
The young woman who was shot was taken to the Intensive Care Unit in Campo Largo. Her health condition is considered serious by doctors.

According to the family, the suspect was imprisoned for six months after trying to kill his wife during an argument between the couple.
“She arrived all broken up. So, I took her to the hospital. It’s not today. He has already hit her several times,” said the young woman’s mother.
Furthermore, the sister of the shot woman said that the family has already warned her not to maintain a relationship with them. The couple had gotten back together approximately a month ago.
“I told him it wasn’t working, that he was going to buy a gun and try to kill her at any time. I told her to abandon this man”, concluded the sister.
The family fears that the man will be released from prison and that he will try something worse against his wife or family members.
