DNIT already has a date for the total closure of the bridge over the Caeté River, on BR-364

The National Department of Transport Infrastructure (DNIT) warns of the total closure of the bridge over the Caeté River, at km 282.65 of BR-364/AC, in Sena Madureira, starting next Saturday (18). The closure is a preventive measure, necessary after technical inspection finds cracks in the crossing’s foundation block, caused by movement in the slope on the bank of the Caeté River.

Local authority technicians continue to monitor the bridge and an emergency has been declared. In this way, DNIT continues to work so that it can soon hire a company to carry out the necessary repairs at the crossing.

During the execution of the bridge rehabilitation services, the Caeté River will be crossed using ferries. The service will be free for users and will be available every day of the week for 24 hours. The vessel is capable of transporting all types of vehicles, including trailers.
