is preparing to release an original Globoplay film. Based on a true story, the production portrays the true story of an unlikely heroine who, faced with a feeling of insecurity, decides to film drug trafficking from the window of her apartment in Copacabana. The case draws the attention of journalist Flávio Godoy, played by Alan Rocha, who covers the case in the media and impresses the country.

The film is inspired by the true story of Joana da Paz, a retired woman who unmasked a gang of drug dealers and corrupt police officers, in Ladeira das Tabajaras, in the South Zone of Rio, with footage on VHS tapes. Included in the Witness Protection Service, she was nicknamed “Vitória” and her identity was kept secret for 17 years, until she died in 2023, after filming for the feature film ended. “A woman who moves us with her courage and love,” said Montenegro. The film hits theaters on March 13th.
