Gleisi highlights the “competence and dedication” of the publicist, who will have the mission of improving Lula’s popularity
Members of the president’s government (PT) wished success, via social media, to the new Secom minister, Sidônio Palmeira, who this Tuesday (January 14, 2025).
The publicist takes over from PT member Paulo Pimenta with the challenge of recovering Lula’s popularity and improving the government’s image.
The PT president, , highlighted the “competence, dedication and commitment” of the advertiser.
Gleisi also thanked Pimenta for his work and stated that he fulfilled the “great mission of rebuilding a ministry that was practically destroyed.”
The Minister of Institutional Relations, Alexandre Padilha, said that Sidônio will boost the publicity of the government’s actions.
“Furthermore, it is crucial to continue combating disinformation and hate speech that seek to confuse and deter our people. These are important challenges, and I believe that Sidônio and the entire government, under the leadership of President Lula, will be successful in this 2nd period that is beginning”, declared.
The Minister of Education, Camilo Santana, made the MEC available to help Secom.
The Minister of Transport, Renan Filho, said that Secom has an essential role in combating fake news. He also thanked Pimenta for her work.
