The news platform is open for applications for the Y. Eva Tan Conservation Reporting Scholarships program. Applications for vacancies can be made until February 1st. The scholarship lasts for six months, starting in May 2025.
Each fellow will receive US$500 per month during the six-month fellowship or US$3,000 in total (around R$18,000). In total, 12 scholarships are offered, six linked to the global English office and six to the Spanish office. Activities are completely remote.
The scholarship does not require a minimum level of education, however one of the requirements is that the interested party resides in a low to high-middle income tropical country, as classified by the . Tropical countries, such as and , are excluded from the exchange.
