Government promises “effort” in investigations
In a press conference held last Monday morning, the governor of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans), spoke out against an MST settlement that took place last weekend in the interior of São Paulo.
“We will make every effort to clarify this case and bring those responsible for this terrible act to justice,” said the governor.
According to Tarcísio, the Civil Police began an operation “immediately” after the attack. “It was possible to reach one of the shooters in the attack, who is Nero. This element has already been arrested”, he added.
