Portimão opens 2nd phase of registrations for cost-controlled housing in Vale de Lagar

Portimão City Hall is running, until February 7th, the 2nd phase of registrations relating to the competition for the allocation, by lottery, of new houses under a controlled-cost sales regime, T1, T2 and T3, under construction in the area of Vale do Lagar.

This phase of the competition is open to citizens residing in the municipality of Portimão for at least two years, who will be able to submit their application to purchase the homes.

In total, 181 homes are available, distributed as follows: 68 1-bedroom units, with prices between €129,000.00 and €153,500.00; 101 2-bedroom units, with values ​​between €194,000.00 and €230,000.00; and 12 3-bedroom units, with prices starting at R$265,000.00.

In accordance with current legislation, these amounts are exempt from payment of IMT and stamp tax, having been calculated in accordance with Ordinance No. 65/2019, of February 19, and approved by the Institute of Housing and Urban Rehabilitation , with prices subject to legal changes.

The draw will be carried out by type, giving preference to candidates or members of the household with a disability equal to or greater than 60%, being divided into three stages, organized by age groups: in the first stage, candidates with ages between 18 and 35; in the second, candidates between 36 and 45 years old; and, finally, in the third stage, candidates over 46 years old.

Applications must be submitted in person at the services of the Housing, Social Development and Health Division of the Portimão City Council, or at the Balcão Único Municipal, from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 to 12:00 and from 14:00 to 16:00. Alternatively, they can be sent by post, via registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt, as long as it is within the established deadline. The Vale de Lagar housing development, sold at controlled costs, has the “Be Living” seal and is already under construction, with the completion of the first phase scheduled for the end of 2026.

Composed of four buildings, up to five floors, this project offers homes of types T1, T2 and T3, with balconies, organic vegetable garden and garage parking with bicycle rack, developed according to the principles of sustainable and energy efficient construction (class A/A+), with LiderA certification.
