The new minister of Secom (Secretariat of Communication) of the Presidency, sworn in this Tuesday (14), has already made changes to the Lula (PT) government’s team.
Sidônio obtained carte blanche to dismiss the president’s former advisors (Presidential Press Secretary and Lula’s former assistant) and the Secretary of Strategies and Networks, Brunna Rosa.
Chrispiniano had the trust of Lula, whom he has followed for more than a decade. In government, the bet is that it will go to a state-owned company.
Brunna, in turn, worked in other PT governments and became close to the president during the election campaign. Furthermore, he has the trust of the first lady, Rosângela da Silva, the . She should be incorporated into the first lady’s team.
In his first interview after becoming official at Secom, the new minister set the tone for the changes, saying that he wants to have a good relationship with the press and that the government needs to improve in digital communication.
In Chrispiniano’s place, journalist Laércio Portela, current secretary of Institutional Communication, will enter. He became minister of Secom, when Paulo Pimenta took over the Rio Grande do Sul reconstruction secretariat.
Mariah Queiroz, who works with the social networks of the mayor of Recife, (PSB), will take over Brunna’s position.
The marketer, according to allies, is known for being skilled in dealing, but without avoiding tough clashes. He demonstrated this skill in the 2022 presidential campaign, when he dodged obstacles put in place by members of Lula’s team.
