Two men suspected of robbing a jewelry store in Rio Negro, in the Metropolitan Region of Curitiba, died during a confrontation with the Military Police in the early hours of this Tuesday (14). According to information from the corporation, after the theft they fled to Santa Felicidade, in Curitiba.
The Police Battalion of Special Rounds (RONE) found the suspects in the capital after an anonymous tip, which reported that the men had invaded their home. The teams claim that they went to the location and began an armed confrontation after resistance. The chase would have continued through farms in the region until resulting in the death of the two involved.

During the crime, the suspects stole money, jewelry and watches. Some of the items were recovered. The police are still looking for the third man who would be involved in the case.
