The second product that, according to Dr. Michael Mosley, should be immediately eliminated from the diet is: processed carbohydrates. This group of food products includes:

- cookies and cookies,
- cornflakes,
- white rice,
- white flour pasta,
- fast food products.
Like sugar, products consisting of processed carbohydrates have high energy value but little nutritional value. Their consumption may lead to weight gain and even an increased risk of many diseases such as diabetes and heart disease.
