January welcomed us in Poland with cold weather and snowfall. We can now feel winter in full force, but these are not only advantages related to the possibility of building a snowman, having a snowball fight, having fun on a sleigh ride or skiing.
At this time of year, clearing snow from the yard, driveway and sidewalk along the plot is inevitable. In many towns you have to do it even every day to be able to move freely and avoid a fine. However, shoveling snow can be made easier. Just use the rope trick.

Regular snow removal is essential. The more often you shovel snow from your property, the better, because when it is fresh, it is easier to remove. If you skip this activity for a day or two, you risk getting a ticket.
And even if you are not fined or warned, then… as a result of delay, a thick layer of white fluff and ice will be created on your property, which will be difficult to get rid of later.
Also remember that when clearing snow, the snow should be spread evenly to the sides. Not for the lawn, but for bushes and trees, for example (it will hydrate them and act as a natural blanket for plants). This will make it melt faster. Avoid throwing it on hills as it may turn to ice.

However, this tedious task can be made easier by using the rope trick. Just tie it between the shovel handle and the shovel scoop. Then, after scooping snow onto the shovel, just pull the string and it will be thrown to the left or right automatically (without having to change your body position).
