‘There were some serious external situations that I never justified myself for’, said the former gymnast

Diego Hypolito vented his feelings in the early hours of this Wednesday (15), in conversation with Camilla and Mateus in the external area of BBB 25, and said that he feels that the LGBTQIA+ public ‘almost always doesn’t like him’. The statement came shortly after ‘Sincerão’.
“I have a feeling that, in our audience, people generally don’t like me. I’m serious,” he said. Camilla asked why the former gymnast felt this way, and he replied:
“Because of things I did wrong in life, attitudes I took due to sponsors. There were some serious external situations that I never justified myself for. In fact, it was never a habit of mine… So, I was labeled in a place that I’m not, I’m not. And because of that, I always think — I have my gay friends — that people don’t like me and that happens 80% of the time.”
It is worth remembering that Diego took a photo with the then president of the republic, Jair Bolsonaro, in 2019 and the former first lady, Michelle. At the time, the former gymnast was received at Palácio da Alvorada, in Brasília, and the image caused controversy with the LGBTQIA+ public.
At the beginning of 2022, during a live with Narcisa Tamborindeguy, Hypolito stated that he was “not a Bolshominion”.
“Just to make it very clear, I’m not a Bolshominion, guys,” he assured at the time. “Various situations happen in life, several have happened in mine: moments of sponsorship, important moments in my career… I’m not a person who absolutely roots against anyone, quite the opposite, I root for people. And I believe that we There is the possibility, this year, of changes.
