New design pays homage to the northeastern sun, the cordel and the map of the region

The new official ball for the Copa do Nordeste 2025 was presented on Tuesday night (14), during the draw for the competition’s groups. The design of the Asa Branca Ecoknit pays homage to the northeastern sun, the cordel and the map of the region. The ball is manufactured in one of the manufacturing units, in Bahia.

Recognized as the “Lampions League”, the Copa do Nordeste celebrates the diversity and vibrant culture of millions of fans in the region. Inspired by these roots, Asa Branca 2025 arrives with a design that aims to connect the public to the history and traditions of the Northeast.
According to Penalty, responsible for the project, the sun is a tribute to the strength and energy of its people; the cordel refers to the rich artistic and literary expression of the Northeast; and the Northeast Cup map and trophy highlight the union of the states and the competitive spirit that permeates the tournament.
Asa Branca is produced with Ecoknit technology, which uses 4.5 PET bottles per unit to promote sustainability without compromising performance.
