With the mediation of the Government of Qatar as a central element, both parties have signed a document that consists of three phases and includes the release of all hostages still in the hands of the Palestinian faction.
Since the Hamas attacks of October 7, 2023, which left more than 1,200 dead and 250 kidnapped in Israel and the immediate response of the Hebrew army, Gaza has experienced a year and three months of destruction. The war was only stopped for a few days at the end of November 2023, with a brief ceasefire that has not found continuity until now.
