Mattighofen – Payment of open November salaries and wages as well as Christmas bonuses has begun at the insolvent motorcycle manufacturer KTM, based in Mattighofen. “Many employees have already received the money from the insolvency compensation fund,” a company spokesman confirmed media reports on Tuesday. KTM AG, KTM Components GmbH and KTM Forschungs- und Entwicklung GmbH had stopped paying before their insolvency. The planned up to 300 layoffs will follow this week.
