Stuffed cabbage cake it’s quite an easy-to-prepare combining dessert chocolate cake with sweet cream cream with a hint of vanilla. An interesting accent here are pear slices that melt in your mouth, diversifying the baking, adding even more flavor and interesting textures. Be sure to serve the finished delicacy with coffee or tea.
Before you start preparing the cake, get the right form. It will work best baking sheet measuring 20×30 cm.
Ingredients for the cake:
- 200 g of dark chocolate,
- 150 g of butter,
- 150 g sugar,
- 4 eggs,
- 100 g of wheat flour,
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder.
Ingredients for the cream:
- 300 ml of cream 36%,
- 2 tablespoons of sugar,
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract,
- 2 ripe pears.
Topping:
- 100 g walnuts.
Prepare the dough. Melt the butter and chocolate in a pot, stirring until smooth. Set aside to cool. In another bowl, beat the eggs with sugar and then add them to the chocolate mixture. Sift flour and baking powder. Mix until ingredients are completely combined. Pour the mixture evenly into two 20×30 cm tins lined with baking paper. Put them in the oven preheated to 180 degrees Celsius for about 15-20 minutes, until the stick is dry. Remove and let the tops cool completely.
Prepare the filling. In a bowl, beat the cream until stiff. Finally, add sugar and vanilla extract. Peel the pears and remove the seeds. Cut them into thin slices.
Assemble the dough. Spread about half of the cream on one cake layer. Place the fruit slices on top and cover with the second layer. Spread the remaining cream cheese. Prepare the topping. Finely chop the walnuts and sprinkle them on top of the cake. Place the stuffed cabbage cake in the fridge for at least 4 hours.
