The topic of the discussion was also the automotive industry and the steps taken by the European Union in this area. They also talked about the situation in Ukraine. They agreed on the need to establish a ceasefire and end the military conflict.
He also met with the mayor of Rome
On Wednesday, the Slovak head of state also met with the mayor of Rome, Roberto Gualtieri. They had a discussion together about, among other things, the roles of cities and municipalities in caring for their citizens.
Pellegrini also participated in the economic forum in the Italian capital, the topic of which was “Why Slovakia?” Fit for Investing and Trade”. He also pointed out that Slovakia can play a key role for Italian companies from a geographical point of view. He believes that the economic cooperation between the two countries will be further strengthened.
On Wednesday evening, the president will also participate in the performance of the Slovak Folk Art Collective at the Auditorium Parco della Musica.
