British princ William confirmed again that he is a big fan of Aston Villa. Heir to the throne visited one of the pubs in Birmingham on Wednesday, where he talked about football with the fans of the local club and invited them for a beer. PHOTO can be found in the gallery!
Forty-two-year-old William was in Birmingham for a university conference and before leaving for the train, he arranged a meeting with Aston Villa supporters in a local pub. This happened a few hours before Wednesday’s match of the English Premier League, in which the team presented itself at Everton’s field.
“He treated us fantastically. I was amazed at how much he knows about the club and how much he cares about it. He is not just a casual fan, he is truly in love with the team. We talked about the club, transfers, the upcoming Champions League game at AS Monaco and all things Aston Villa. He asked a lot, he wanted to know everything about the team.” 56-year-old Steve Jones, who has been a Villa fan for 35 years, revealed to Hello magazine.
The future king had a pint of cider with his fans before heading to London and paid for the round. “It’s great to be back in Birmingham. I look forward to celebrating the victory over Everton together tonight,” the Prince of Wales was to announce. Already last April, he was seen at the Aston Villa match together with his son George.
