This move by the Albanian Prime Minister was certainly not expected by the Prime Minister of Italy
X has released video showing Rama kneeling in front of her and giving her a present for her 48th birthday at the Adnec Center in Abu Dhabi, where the World Summit on the Future of Energy is being held.
The Albanian prime minister presented Meloni with a scarf by an Italian designer, who he told her had recently moved to Albania. The silk scarf had images of Albanian folk culture on it in gray and black.
“What a character you are,” Meloni exclaimed. “I asked the reporters to sing ‘Happy Birthday,’ because you really like it,” Rama said.
At the summit Italy, Albania and the United Arab Emirates signed a deal worth at least 1 billion euros ($1 billion) to build an undersea interconnection for renewable energy across the Adriatic.
