In many locations in Slovakia, visibility is reduced to 100 meters due to heavy snowfall. The Slovak Road Administration (SSC) informs about this on its website zjazdnost.sk. She also warned drivers that on the Oravská Lesná mountain pass, there is a layer of fresh snow of ten to 15 centimeters.
The Príslop mountain pass is closed to traffic with a total length of more than 12 meters. Other passages are passable, the road surface is mostly covered with a layer of fresh snowu. The roads of the first, second and third class are passable, the surface of the roads is covered with a layer of fresh, slushy or compacted snow in most of the territory.
SSC pointed out that snow chains are required on the road II/584 Srdiečko – Bystrá for all vehicles.
