Singer Joelma will be responsible for leading the opening show of the Supercopa do Brasil. The competition title will be decided in the classic between Flamengo and Botafogo, at the Mangueirão stadium, in Belém, on February 2nd. The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) and Globo, responsible for broadcasting the match, reached an agreement to hold the presentation.
The announcement about the choice of the artist from Pará was made this Wednesday morning (15), during the program Mais Você, on TV Globo.
“Hello Ana, hi, Louro Mané. I’m stopping by to leave you a big kiss, a big hug. And to invite everyone to watch the Super Cup final! It’s going to be incredible! Who’s going to get this one? Let’s watch it together”, said the singer.
It is worth remembering that, in September last year, Joelma’s musical work was recognized as Cultural and Intangible Heritage of Pará. The bill was unanimously validated by deputies of the state’s Legislative Assembly, in Belém.
Flamengo secured their place in the Super Cup after winning the Copa do Brasil 2024 title. Botafogo got their place after winning the Brasileirão 2024.
