A couple was shot dead in a condominium in Curitiba last Sunday (12) and the crime was celebrated by members of the Primeiro Comando da Capital (PCC).
In a message sent in a WhatsApp group, members of the PCC pointed out that one of the victims supplied weapons and drugs to the faction’s rivals.
“My brothers, let us know today (12), at midnight, Dedé was caught. The maloqueiro was a supplier of weapons and drugs for trash. We have audio footage of him showing that he is an enemy of the PCC and that he set up a base in Capanema, from where they left to attack the PCC, in which we lost 5 warriors in favor of the war. Now a worthy return”, said the message.
The victims, André (26) and Mirella (17), were from the coast of Paraná and were in a rented apartment in Curitiba.
André had several stints with the police, with four arrest warrants issued against him for crimes such as robbery and drug trafficking. The man would have been imprisoned between 2021 and 2023, when he managed to break the electronic ankle bracelet.

According to information from RICtv reporter Willian Bittar, the man who rented the apartment, located in the Sítio Cercado neighborhood, for the couple had left the house shortly before the crime and was seen in front of the condominium after the murders.
Information from the Military Police indicates that the three shooters managed to enter the condominium without breaking down the gate. Therefore, they had access control or someone else authorized this entry.
Before entering the block, one of the victims allowed the shooters access to the block, which suggests that at least one of the suspects was known to André.
When they entered the apartment, Mirella was shot on the sofa, while André tried to escape through the balcony, but was shot and died at the scene. The young woman died shortly before the ambulance arrived.
At the scene, military police found 9mm and .40 casings. The gray Corsa used by the suspects was abandoned in the Sítio Cercado region, partially burned.
