From Wednesday, the operation of other cadastral departments of district offices has been resumed. They are to operate in Púchov, Sabinov and Medzilaborce. TASR was informed about this by the spokesman of the Ministry of the Interior (MV) Matej Neumann.
“They provide services only for the districts within their jurisdiction. Gradually, workplaces will also start operating at other district officesabout which the Ministry of the Interior of the Slovak Republic will continuously inform,” added Neumann.
The workplaces of the cadastral departments were temporarily closed due to a large-scale cyber attackwhich affected their information system. The government declared after the extraordinary session that the data is backed up and there is no risk of changes to proprietary data. The cadastre gradually resumes operations from Monday (January 13).
