WhatsApp does not have a specific function to find out who has your phone contact saved, but there is a simple and quick trick to find out who has registered you in the contact list.
The process varies slightly between Android and iPhone.
Anyone using a device Android If you want to find out if someone has your number, you must press the three dots button in the top right corner on the WhatsApp home page. Then, you must select the “new sending list” option.
In the case of iPhonealso in the three points, the user must click on “select conversations” to carry out the trick.
Once there, a list with the numbers you want to verify, along with a trusted number (a close friend or family member) who is guaranteed to have your number saved.
Here comes the most annoying part of the “trick”. The curious user has to send a message to the list they created in the previous step and, after a waiting period, they must look carefully at the check marks next to the message.
If you see two gray checkmarks, it means the message was delivered, if there are two blue checkmarks there, the message was read, and a single gray checkmark means the message was not delivered, which, in principle, indicates that this contact does not have your number saved, as noted by .
But be careful: although it is useful, the trick is not foolproof. Factors such as privacy settings, the recipient’s Internet connection or little use of WhatsApp can fool the perpetrator.
