Lienz – The women’s World Cup races in Lienz are facing massive changes. The technical competitions take place every other year between Christmas and New Year, alternating with Semmering, but the previously used ski area at Hochstein will be permanently closed for financial reasons. As the Tiroler Tageszeitung (TT) reported on Wednesday, the races should remain – but in the city’s second ski area, Zettersfeld.
