Rezende and Gabriel Xavier renewed their contract with Bahia Credit: EC Bahia/Disclosure
This is the third time that the club has renewed Gabriel Xavier’s contract, whose contract ended at the end of the 2027 season. The defender, in fact, finished training in the Squadron’s youth categories and has 94 appearances for the main team, with two goals scored and the Campeonato Baiano title in 2023. Last season, he played in 53 matches.
Rezende, who arrived at Tricolor in 2022, had a contract until the end of 2025. He was a starter in the first two seasons with the blue, red and white shirt, but lost space in 2024. He played 34 matches last season – 14 of which as a starter – and scored a goal. In total, there are 131 duels for Bahia, with six goals and four assists.
