In search of their 12th Copinha title, Corinthians beat Vila Nova 4-1, this Wednesday (13/01), and qualified for the round of 16 of the competition. The duel took place at the Bruno José Daniel Stadium, in Santo André (SP).

Corinthians’ goals were scored by Dieguinho, Bahia, Denner and Pellegrin. Lucas Gabriel scored for the Goiás team.

Corinthians will face Ituano in the third phase of the Copinha. In the third phase, the team from the city of Itu (SP) beat Fortaleza 3-2, also this Wednesday.

Corinthians x Ituano should take place this Friday (17/01), but the time, stadium and broadcast channel have not yet been announced.
