In the early hours of last Wednesday, Dior’s largest store in Spain, located at Galeria Canalejas in Madrid, was the target of an audacious robbery. The criminals used a BMW SUV to repeatedly crash into the store’s entrance, thus managing to force it open.
With their faces covered, the thieves entered the interior and took around 100 luxury items, including branded handbags, whose prices can reach R$5,000.
The robbery took place around 4 am, and security images from the location, along with recordings from Madrid city cameras, are being analyzed by the police to try to identify the perpetrators.
During the robbery, an employee of Galeria Canalejas arrived at the scene and went towards the criminals, but was quickly intimidated by one of the thieves, who shouted at him to stay away.
After the incident, the Dior store was closed to carry out an inventory of the damage caused, as reported by an employee to the newspaper El Mundo. Police are continuing their investigation in an attempt to locate those responsible for the robbery.
