HAS CNNfederal deputy Nikolas Ferreira (PL-MG) said this Wednesday (15) that the “viralization” of the video on social media is a “factual demonstration” of people’s indignation with the federal government’s tax and inspection measures.
“The video has surpassed 220 million views and this is a factual demonstration that people are outraged by a state that only takes money and does not give it back,” said the deputy during the CNN Arena.
After the repercussion of Ferreira’s post on the networks, the federal government revoked the measure that aimed to expand the supervision of data on financial transactions via Pix of R$5,000 or more, carried out by individuals, or R$15 thousand or more made by companies.

Throughout the video, Nikolas denies the rumor that gained traction on social media and that even caused transactions of this type to drop more in January.
