The fugitive from Justice, identified as Reginaldo Rodrigues Mota, approximately 40 years old, was found dead by residents on the afternoon of this Wednesday (15), in Ramal Rio Grande, accessed via km 10 of BR-317, in the rural area of municipality of Assis Brasil, in the interior of Acre.

According to information from residents of the region, as they passed through Ramal Rio Grande, they saw a person lying and bloody. As they approached, they realized that it was Reginaldo, who had a deep wound on his neck, possibly caused by blows from a knife, which almost resulted in his decapitation.

Residents quickly contacted the Military Police, who were at the scene and confirmed the veracity of the information. The area was isolated for the work of the Civil Police, criminal experts and autopsy agents. After the forensic procedures, the body was collected and sent to the Legal Medical Institute (IML) of Brasiléia. Afterwards, he will be taken to Rio Branco, where he will undergo cadaveric examinations. The victim had a deep cut on his neck, which almost separated his head from his body, as well as a wound on his left arm.

According to residents, Reginaldo was known in the region and had cut off the electronic ankle bracelet he was wearing. They also reported to the police that he had disagreements with people who lived there.

The case is under investigation by the Assis Brasil Civil Police Station, which is now working to identify and locate the perpetrators of the crime.
