With an alternative team, but with the debut of defender Freytes, reinforcement for the season, Fluminense did not play well. To make matters worse, defender Manoel was sent off 16 minutes into the second half, after pushing an opponent and receiving a second yellow card. From then on, Volta Redonda started to put pressure on and got the three points with a great goal.
At 42, after hitting and rebounding, striker Marquinhos placed it into the middle of the area on a bicycle. The ball went towards Mirandinha, who sent another shot, hitting goalkeeper Vitor Eudes’ left corner.

Who is Mirandinha, from Volta Redonda?
Mirandinha is 25 years old and was born in São João do Ivaí, Paraná. Right-handed and 1.79m tall, he plays on the right wing. He came on at 26 in the second half in the game against Fluminense.
The winger arrived at Volta Redonda this season, on loan from Maringá.
In the second half of 2024, the attacker played for Ypiranga-RS. He also has stints in Figueirense, Londrina, Paysandu and Gyeongnam, in South Korea.
