This year, a total of 261,779 vacancies are available, distributed across 6,851 undergraduate courses in 124 public higher education institutions. Interested parties have until January 21st to register. Minas Gerais leads the offer of vacancies, with 34,049 opportunities, followed by Rio de Janeiro, which offers 28,424. Bahia and Paraíba also stand out, with 22,889 and 21,268 vacancies, respectively. Federal universities in Rio de Janeiro, such as UFRJ and UFF, are those that offer the largest number of places, with 9,050 and 8,683, respectively.

The Federal Institute of Ceará (IFCE) stands out among federal institutes, with 6,022 vacancies. In this edition of Sisu, a new feature is the inclusion of the Pé-de-Meia Licenciaturas program, which offers more than 68 thousand vacancies dedicated to undergraduate courses. In addition, there are 14,521 vacancies in technological degree courses, covering areas such as renewable energy, data management and information technology.
