In addition to gaining political prestige, the occupants are responsible for certain administrative issues — such as the management of functional properties or the issuance of diplomatic passports — and gain the right to more positions and funds.
For the second vice-presidency of the Chamber, the most popular candidate is a 24-year-old deputy, son of another current federal deputy.

The party tried to nominate the leader of the bench, Elmar Nascimento (BA), as a candidate for president of the Chamber, but he ended up being forced to give up, in November, after the current commander of the House, (PP-AL), opted for Hugo Motta as your candidate.
As a result, Elmar is tipped to chair the Chamber’s Constitution and Justice Committee or report on the 2026 Budget — this last vacancy, however, was agreed upon for the MDB, which has not yet defined a name.
